What's up little pups?

We're in Darlington this weekend for a race I might actually watch. It's not a 1.5mile high banked oval. The turns are actually different. It's bumpy. They run close to the walls. It's basically a street circuit.

7pm EST, Fox, Saturday night. 7pm is Action Time, not pre-race suicide watch.

Danica over/under: We're still honoring the Keselowski Line, 30th place qualifying and race finishes so state your prediction.
Unneccessary Danica Mention of the Weekend©: Already done. Spanish GP FP2, NBC Sports.
This week in John Wes Townley: http://www.sportspro...college_sports/ No word yet on whether he will be replacing any players at the last minute.
Bizarre Jeff Hamond Location Report: Civil War battlefield. With period hat. Will he be Union or Confederacy? How many states away will you be able to hear SR388 say "That **** aint right"?

Also taking predictions on what sidelines Montoya's run and which pair of drivers have a post-race prayer circle.

Real News
Uh, everyone is racing this weekend I guess? Kenseth isn't banned or anything, Hamlin says he's going to do(or try) the whole race. Really interested to see how Indycar driver Kurt Busch handles the move to stock car racing.

New Dodge unveiled http://media.carandd...-s-original.jpg start your NASCAR fantasy rumors.....now.

This is my first season of watching Nascar live, definitely worth subscription fee so far. Looking forward to Darlington, hope Stewart can kickstart season here with a win, hope Hamlin and Jr do well too.

Dont forget Nationwide tonight. Race starts in approx 4 hours.

Kenseth, Kahne, KyBu, and Logano will be there, stealing camera-time from the championship contenders.
Both Austin and Ty will take part.

A top 5 favorite race of the year for me personally, along with the short tracks and road courses. Too bad free pass/wave around have jumbled laps down, or that could be an over/under (30 might fit!) Are tires going to be an issue with the speed this car will carry through those corners?

50% chance showers and thunderstorms during the evening/night. Nothing looking like a washout, but one shower could turn this into a looooooong night....

David Caraviello ‏@dcaraviello 1m
Danica Patrick was supposed to be first out in the order, but evidently NASCAR has allotted No. 10 team more time to get the backup ready.

NASCAR on SPEED ‏@NASCARonSPEED 10m
Reports say #NASCAR made @KyleBusch's No. 54 @JoeGibbsRacing @NASCAR_NNS team replace nose of car Thurs. Any penalties would come next week.

Hey did anyone watch the NNS pre-race show? They had some cheesy little piece called "The Real Juan" where I guess Juan threw a cookout for his team before Richmond or something? (I don't really get it, it looked just like a typical team meal at the track, but I digress)

Anyway it was just them cutting up and making fun of each other, Juan was portrayed as a good guy, giving and taking little barbs and digs, buying his team dinner, and just hanging out.

It was a totally cheesy and gratuitous fluff piece but it was pretty good seeing the team relaxed and having fun.

This is hilarious! Motors TV is currently showing the NNS race from last week. It's ending now.
One would assume it's all lining up for the live coverage right?
Wrong! They are airing the Eurocar race from Nogararo.

Its an ongoing thing, they follow JPM doing something different like driving a tank or karting with his son. They're all on youtube.

Nah, trouble in the pits. Jack man slipped when they came back to change the left side and he lost 5 spots to restart 6th.

No, which is why I don't get it.

Its an ongoing thing, they follow JPM doing something different like driving a tank or karting with his son. They're all on youtube.

So that kind of makes sense, the way there was a little intro and now that I think about it I got the impression it said in THIS weeks "The Real Juan."

I'd never seen it before.

Juan Montoya cut up with his crew during a barbecue, and apparently rode a tank with his kid.

There may be a JGR car in the lead of a race.

Does anyone else suspect that Matt Kenseth may be the best overall driver in NASCAR and the crappy Rousch equipment masked his talent? And now that he's in Gibbs he's going to be unstoppable over the course of the season.
