Don't worry, it'd be just a slap on the wrist. They wouldn't dare over something like that.

Its not Lewis or Mclaren and theres no Max with a vendetta anymore, so I think it'll be fine.

This is a really pathetic and pitiful rule. Seriously, its cool when a driver gets his flag, reminds me of the great Senna days.

FIA are a joke sometimes.

Alonso did the same in Valencia last year. How about investigating Pirelli tyres instead??

The rule's in place because of a legit fear that drivers might pick up extra ballast along with the flag. These guys are sneaky bastards. They should have a rule that you can only pick up a flag when you win. No one wants to see a loser celebrating so exuberantly, it's just sad.

In those circumstances no team would be so confident of victory that they'd send a car to the grid underweight.

Lets hope for a 30 sec penalty or a 5 position grid penalty for next race. The FIA needs to enforce the rules.

They aren't supposed to go and high five/shake hands with the team after they get out of the car either but nobody stops that.

Or force him to listen to an audio book of E.L. James, read out by DC.

Nah, a reprimand at best or a $5000 fine at worst. Don't sweat it. Alonso will keep the win to your delight.

As there was no punishment and it was just investigated, it apprears that this thread is now nothing more than a trolling thread. Hence it is now closed.
