do you understand the meaning of the word dominant?

Yes, do you?

do you think Merc that locked out the front row in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago are anywhere near a dominant car?

Another wonderful strawman

of course I understand the word. But since you dont here's the dictionary definition: commanding, controlling, or prevailing over all others. Defining a team as being dominant for "part" of a season is a logical fallacy. And no different to defining a team as being "dominant" cause they won a race.

PS you don't seem to understand the meaning of a strawman argument either. Do you think I should buy you a dictionary for Christmas?

PPS in 2012 Red Bull won 7 races. Exactly the same number as McLaren did. McLaren had 8 Pole positions, Red Bull had 7 (8 if you count Schumacher's Monaco grid penalty). Dominate that.

The Red Bull was only ever dominant in 2011. Once the blown diffuser was banned they fell back in 2012... The reason Red Bull had a great latter half to the 2012 season was because they finally got their DDRS to work but they were by no means dominant. They had a very fast though.

To be honest, what Alonso has said is true because I don't believe Red Bull are as fast as they let on. They're just posturering and lobbying as seen with Vettel going from the tyres are too soft to them being dangerous.

I said i understood it. Can you not read?

It is not.

A team can be dominant for 1 race.

I do understand it.

Please, don't trouble yourself sweetheart.

This has no relevance to what i was talking about. I never claimed Red Bull were dominant across all 20 races.

So if car wins a race dominantly, it makes the whole car dominant?

no, don't be silly.

A team can be dominant for 1 race.

I don't see any contradiction dictionary boy. A car being dominant at 1 race does not make it dominant at every race.

Alonso is right. Ferrari is the most complete car at the moment. Without his OWN mistakes he'd be leading the wdc at the moment.

Alonso is right.

Anaway Red Bull for this year have won the title of "Sore loser of the year "..that's pretty clear now.

Yes Ferrari is the best car at the moment. When RBR was the best team Alonso said he is driving against Newey. With that logic it is not Alonso who is winning but Fry.

Bollocks. You do realise that they weren't even the fastest car last year and Alonso quite rightly points out that they don't have the fastest car now either. This talk of them doing 10 stops if they used the full potential of their car is just some posturing.

According to them they got the tyres in the window in Bahrain and yet they didn't get pole and Vettel was less than a tenth faster than Alonso in qualifying. Had Alonso not had issues I think Vettel would have had a much tougher time in that race.

Oh man... are we going to have a "Alonso says that..." after every sentence Alonso says? I wonder if ALONSO is the most dominant driver of the grid...

watch australia again ;) IIRC there was an observation in winter testing, that when they started off with mega first laps on a stint, the tyres went away much faster, while when they picked up the pace slower, the tyres lasted longer. not going 0,5 faster than anyone else could be down to this. OT: so, there is no more "but the car, the car!" excuse for Alonso if he gets beaten by Vettel again? good. :)

red bulls problem isnt nearly as big as that of mercedes, so I should have probably chanhed the sentence somewhat, but i am at work typing on my phone so pls forgive me.

other than that: im not an alonso supporter at all... I would rather see vettel win than him, but that doesnt influence me, I say it like I think is true and dont try to get bias mixed into my thinking process.

Asked if Red Bull are bad losers, Horner told Catalunya Radio: “No I don’t think so, in sport you have to win and lose.

“And when you lose, you have to work harder and not complain about yellow flags.”

And when you build a car that eats tyres, you improve the tyre wear of the car, not blame the tyre manufacturer, that makes tyres equal for everyone.

Who's the bad losers here, Christian? When Ferrari build a car in 2011 which couldn't get heat in the hard tyres, they blamed themselves. Now Red Bull have made a car that eats through its tyres, they blame Pirelli.

gotta love Christian Horner he is awesome :D

it's a wisdom my mother already taught me... before you complain about what others do... look into the mirror first and see if you aren't doing the same thing

Still sniveling about yellow flags and you think that's somehow "awesome"... you kids are hilarious - if there was an issue with goldenfingerboy running a yellow flag and nobody at Ferrari complained you be sitting around commenting how stupid Ferrari were, so either way your basis for opinion is as clear as mine... one sided

So true and so typical, the stupid part is how rb fans fall for this **** and actually keep a thread like this cruising.

yeah I think it's awesome cause he is right... and not sure you can call me kid anymore but thanks... since I started to feel really old recently...

but you ARE missing the point... the point Christian made in his commentary was, that Ferrari is just as much of a bad looser as is Red Bull...

but that's how competition is.... :p you either don't like to loose or it will end in you loosing alot

in some regard this song is true

RB would be fools to not even ask for a tyre change, regardless of whether it is right or not (I think it is right so that everyone can race but that is unimportant now)

just as Ferrari would have been a fool if they hadn't mentioned the yellow flag to get it cleared up...

True.

If you start to complain about the tires look yourself in the mirror.
