If you want to go all-electric there's Formula E for that.

Please note the final few lines of the post... Where i did say should it have been done in formula e?
And do try to be constructive not "if you want that go else where" we'd still be watching chariot racing with those kind of replies...

But back to the point I don't think they did it in F-e because then it would be technologically more
Interesting than F1 to anyone looking to develop real world relevant tech. Where as F-e basically says "look electric cars are quick and good novelty but they are useless! They only last for 20 minutes then die! In fact to run a full race we need two cars! They are terrible" which is quite clearly a stupid but of PR but nvm

well.. opening up the rules for it is perhaps something that could be done.

But you need to put sources out on all of these claims.
