I think there's not a single position change in the top 10 from qualifying?

People who didn't go to a commercial break just then, did the Channel Ten commentators get that right? Did RBR really radio Mark and tell him to keep a 2-second gap to Vettel?

Button in front of Perez.

Got to love that with all the cameras they fail to show an actual pass.

Perez needs someone to slap him upside the head and teach him some manners.

Yes. The gaps are not opening up behind so they need to run longer on this set.

2-second gap to Kimi, I think. Not sure though.

Yes, to save tyres.

Surely the next step is to just tell a driver to box, that will certainly save some tyres.

No train thanks to illegal tyre testing. ;)

Why do you think everyone is running so close together and starting to change their strategies?

Apparently, Charlie told McLaren to order Perez to give the position back to Button.

It doesn't exist, but it will be a handy excuse.

The truth of the matter is that they are all trying too hard to one stop and save tyres and so are all just cruising until someone stops first.

This "sport" is getting a bit shite.

They didn't test these tyres though. ;)

JB now ahead of Perez, so SP's chicane cutting must have been noticed by the stewards.

Well, there's no point being too close to Vettel and ruin Mark's tyres.

I saw that, when the others pit he'll set in some fast laps.

I hope the car has more pace otherwise it will end pretty bad

If Di Resta can get up with/past Massa he'll be about 18 or less seconds behind Rosberg, he could be in the catbird seat. He's done his tyre change, got rid of the SS tyres, everybody stops and leaves him in the lead and them with the problem of passing him.

I agree. Not a Perez hater, but McLaren really needs to have a good talk with the lad.

Ok, this track is bulls**t.

The track requires balls of steel   It is the tires that don't allow drivers to push to the absolute limit.

Great "showpiece" event.

Get rid of Monaco please. Never understood its appeal.

Merc need to give Lewis pit priority otherwise he will be jumped by Red Bull. If Lewis pits first he shouldn't undercut Rosberg anyway.

Yep, if Nico gets the better strategy then Lewis is toasted.

Pirelli races work when track position means nothing. Around Monaco, track position means everything. There's only one opportunity, the pitstops, so everyone is spending the stint maximising their chances.

This is not a race, this is a bloody commute.

I am a huge F1 fan and have been since this race in '88 and this is just a joke.

And I am a Lewis fan and should be happy right now.
