Going back a couple of years I wished he would give it a rest, but now I am very much of the live and let live opinion. It isn't my style (and def not the Daily Mail's) but who cares? Lewis would certainly look silly in the clothes that I like. Go ahead and express yourself I say.

He needs to decide if things are a distraction or a help - but even if they are a distraction, so what? It's his life.

No. Hamilton is the only driver who gets lots of coverage outside F1 related publications. Be it tabloids or even "women´s" magazines due to his celebrity status. In Moaco Roscoe probably got more photos published outside F1 media, than Rosberg and Vettel combined.

Not, it's definitely Vettel

I think some are confusing idiocy and ignorance with racism.

Racism is caused by idiocy and ignorance, so they're not two seperate ideas.

And I've definitely noticed a larger problem with racism and sports over in Europe than in the States. You would not leave a stadium alive chanting monkey chants or doing blackface here in the US. It may not be a sign that people are more racist in Europe in general(probably no different than anywhere else), but it does seem to be more acceptable to display it in public than in other places for whatever reason. You certainly dont see anybody in the US needing to display 'No To Racism' campaigns everywhere.

Anyways, the article is not news, there is nothing new to report, it just seems like slow news day drivel. I'm a little disappointed as I was hoping he'd done something else to make fun of him for. :p

Yes Germany is probably a better place but i bet that's not because of racism but but based on purely of economycal causes.
What's leading you to think that Hungary is a racist place ?

Yeah Germany is a stronger place economically too, but socially you'd rather be there than some Eastern European countries.

Hungary has a pretty far-fight government at the moment. Yeah it's only certain MPs saying crazy things about Jews and the like, but it's things that wouldn't be as tolerable in bigger EU nations.

I'm a hungarian and i agree with your main points, but i would like to add that all of that has nothing in common with the normal, everyday people here. We just can't get rid of them (governments, MP's), because they're everywhere and they're dictating the rules.... :/

Btw, i see nothing wrong in that Lewis as a young people would like to enjoy his life. He has all the resources and for example he is maybe much more suited to have a dog than much of the dog owners.. :D

If I, for example were a rich and young F1 star, i would like to have muscle cars, custom motors, leather jackets and i would like to go out with people like Zakk Wylde for example. :D

Papers are full of bullshit. They are thirsting for scandals and if there is none then they're making one out of nothing...

I probably should have explained myself better. I don't think the average person in an Eastern European country is racist. There are far right extremists in the UK, but any time they do something they are heavily criticised by the media, politicians, etc. In other countries it's sort of 'allowed'. So when there was the issue with England playing Serbia in football, I don't think all Serbians are racists but that small group that ruins it for everyone wouldn't be as prominent in other countries.

Okay, once again the Daily Mail's story about Lewis and how his manager, his tattoos and Roscoe the puppy 'V-sign to convention' affect his racing seems to have rather gotten away from us. Maybe it’s Roscoe’s fault and that dog really is intrinsically distracting? Or maybe the issues raised just need a much stronger supporting article and a very focussed opening post for such a thread to really thrive.

Anyway, this thread is going away now, kids. Don’t worry, it’s going to a good home. On a farm. It’ll be happier there.
