He already veto'd Hamilton.
No no that's your boy Fernando I'm afraid, Vettel never vetoed anyone, but Alonso vetoed Perez and Hamilton. RBR didn't want Hamilton. Nothing to do with Vettel.

So Vettel was not asked on his opinion? Horner just decided all by himself?

Vettel's opinion was likely asked on who he'd like to replace Webber one day but I doubt he ever asked or has the power to ask for a veto on anyone. Hamilton is high maintenance and two WDCs never works for any team trying to win both championships and have harmony. RBR didn't want Lewis, not Vettel.

Thread title edited to be more representative.
Please always give your threads titles that fairly reflect their content. Misleading titles waste the board's time, anger people and mean the discussion tends to become about the title itself, rather than the subject.
Funny. I couldn't understand all the protests against a perfect thread title until I read your post. Now go and edit all the other thread titles. You are good at it.

I am sure RBR management consider a lot of things, among them Vettels opinions. After collecting arguments they make decisions. I can only speak for myself, trying to put myself in a RBR management role, but I would hesitate to put Hamilton next to someone like Vettel. Why? Well, Lewis has proved at McLaren that he want to win at all cost, putting the team and the team mate in danger. Vettel is the same. I am not saying that it is necessarily a bad thing that the drivers look at their own fortune first, but RBR have already experienced first hand the problems it leads to and I think they consider themselves lucky that Vettel usually is too far ahead of Webber for problems to occur. That would probably not be the case if they replaced Webber with Hamilton. So Vettel was not asked on his opinion? Horner just decided all by himself?
Kimi on the other hand... I do not think he would do anything stupid if they told him to help his team mate, but he would probably not make more than a half hearted effort when asked to give up the idea of winning.

There was time when I wished to see Hamilton next to Vettel and learn something more concrete about those two, instead living of mythology.I am sure RBR management consider a lot of things, among them Vettels opinions. Hmm. Apparently, you don't find your real friends in F1. But Kimi takes Vettel with him to Amateur rally. Okay.In fact Sebastian already ridden a rally car - Kimi Raikkonen took him to Amateur rally. According to Vettel, feeling his unforgettable.«This is just nuts, " recalls German. - Especially on the snow. We drove up to the 90-degree turn, and my brain was screaming, "Wait, wait". However, he braked much later. Thanks to the spikes, the machine is still slowed down, but it was still scary. Then I tried it and even got pleasure from driving. But what they are doing - a completely different level».

The English article omitted his explanation of 'real friends' part. Basically what he meant was very small group of people that you can confide everything in.Hmm. Apparently, you don't find your real friends in F1. But Kimi takes Vettel with him to Amateur rally. Okay.

Mostly likely another 'made up' one inside his mind. Does tend to post stuff without any backups.
