Ogier F1 test, swap with Vettel?

When Vettel was asked about his imminent retirement from F1, he was like 3000 miles away and couldn't hear the question, but the lack of response clearly hints that he's tired of F1 and his incessant domination and wants to give it a go in WRC.
What do y'all think?

What do y'all think?
Since you asked,
I think every news item needs its own thread, with a sensationalist misleading subject title.

What isn't acceptable is the completely fabricated & misleading title, so that has been edited to give some accuracy as to what the topic is actually about.

Not if Ferrari have anything to say about it...
Yep, I believe it, Vettel to pack it in and go rally racing.

Would be interesting to see Loeb making a Porsche Supercup appearence though. I think he would kick ass.
With all the respect possible. Where have you been? Loeb has done the two first races this year. 11th in Spain and 16 in the streets of Monaco. Ogier was 13th in Monaco

Apparently at some point Kimi took him with him to Amateur rally and let him drive.Has Vettel done any kind of racing outside single seaters? I know he has done the Race of Champions that last 4-5 years, but anything else? Any sportscar tests? And DTM 2 seater runs?

The more crossover between series the better. Ogier obviously lacks experience in single-seaters big time so I'm concerned he'd be awful in a F1 test, but I like it that he's interested in it and has been putting the time trying lower powered single-seaters.
How cool would it be if he showed up for a F3 race or something? Vettel could start with a small Clio or something in rally too.

I was just bored, yea.Pretty sure the OP was just trying to add humour to the story.

And an F3 race would be really cool. They have tons of wildcard drivers so I dont see why he couldn't do one if he really wanted to. I'm guessing he has the money for it.
Has Vettel ever actually expressed interest in rallying?

Then again, the only time they raced together on a track, Ogier finished ahead.

Won the qualifying race at Nogaro in the FIA GT series this year. Hasn't had the results after that (for reasons I do not know as I do not follow the series), but there is some really good drivers and team in the series this year. Was quick those years he ran for Pescarolo at Le Mans.

It says he admires Walter Röhrl and their driving styles. He loves watching old rally videos on his iPad. So he sure is interested. But I don't see him doing any serious stuff himself nor think the team give him permission.I was just bored, yea.

I do not follow the Supercup but I assumed that if he had taken part, there would have been some headlines. I was wrong. Or I read the wrong newspapers
