Looking wet, wet, wet. Going to be a dull Friday I fear. Saturday looking wet and even Sunday now has potential for showers.

All the teams tweeting about the wet weather, guess there little to no running as they aren't given enough wet tyres.

If just rain and not a downpour, we should be in for a good race, unless they decide that a wettish track is not something the best drivers in the world can handle and let them trundle around behind a pacecar.

A very likely scenario.

Is the track prone to standing water, or is the draining quite good?

http://weather.gc.ca...7_metric_e.html

Though the one recommended yesterday - http://weatherspark.com/#!dashboard;a=Canada/QC/Montreal - indicates the race may be dry, with the rain petering out at midday.

The amount of rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday is currently very light. But I never trust the actual amount forecasts much.

Uncertain with it being a street track basically. Obviously 2011 it just rained so hard for so long that drainage just went out of the window, so it'd be unfair to compare to then. In terms of lighter rain, or moderate levels of rain, again, not sure really. Luckily it looks very unlikely that Sunday will see rain like we saw when they red flagged the race in 2011, when clearly it was too wet to carry on behind the SC (especially when we saw just how quickly the track became flooded all around)

Either the TV information is wrong or the BBC are only showing highlights of FP1?

It starts at 3 and the tv info has it down for 3:45?

Either they are showing highlights or simply not showing half of it?

The worst thing is that from 3-3.45pm instead of F1 practice live (or the first half of it anyway), they're showing.........a repeat of Springwatch.

As the poster above, it says 'all the action from free practice one' on my screen.

Oh well, guess I'll just stream fp1 from sky.

Its a cool feature but I don't prefer it. I don't mind at the minute because there's no real action.

I thought the blue one is the inter (Reference to Inter Mailand) but the german presenter just said it's the other way round.

Don't know what it is about her, and tbh it would be great to have a quality female driver in the sport at some point, but Susie Wolff really grates on me. (She's on the BBC Coverage)

I wonder when sauber will say that indeed Gutierrez isn't a driver that should be in F1. I have no doubts that money that he brings, soon, won't be enough

Strange how they are suddenly transformed the moment there is water around

Especially years with Schumacher.
