Who gives a damn about NASCAR anyway.

I do like the calendar though. It's even and only one three week gap, apart from the "vacation" in the summer. MUCH better than this year's FOUR three week gaps. doesn't matter what anyone says.

So we've recently lost Korea, Valencia, India and now NJ and Mexico are not being added on.  But we got Austria, Austin and Russia.  I am among a small minority who liked Valencia a lot.  But I look forward to Austria and Russia.

There are 2 3 week gaps* apart from the summer break, 1 between China and Spain and another between Sochi and USA - if its a tight title fight that one is going to seem like forever, not sure why they've shifted the final 3 races back a week from the last provisional calendar.

(*As I failed to count there were 4 back-to-back races a few weeks ago there is a good chance I could also be wrong again here ;) )

Also does anyone know if the test schedule has been finalised yet or when it is likely to be - I guess this is something agreed to by the teams rather than the FIA.

We've had a surprisingly good turn considering the gloom people have had over F1's expansion across the globe.

Valencia, a track considered by virtually everyone as one of the worst ever, is gone for good, as is Korea which simply appeared to be a bad idea for everyone involved. India's meant to be coming back, but with all the problems it's created and a short but uninspiring history I doubt it.

In return, we're returning to a historic venue at the A1 ring, finally got the US Grand Prix at an excellent new home, and got a new race in Europe (just). Now if only we can get Mexico back it might start to make up for losing Turkey :)

Do you mean Spa in August?  I don't get why you mentioned it anyway

I'm disappointed by the dropped races anyway

21 would have been sweet

I meant Spa in May, the 1st list I read had 11/05 Spa, which I read as Spa, and not as Spain...  I just though Spa in May, its bound to rain, so I looked up the typical weather.

Lots of people in the USA, where I believe the US GP is held.

Last race in abu dhabi is a bad idea. Looks like the sheiks have paid a few extra money for the slot.

That would sound ironic if we were talking... If you know what i mean  :smoking:

Seems like Bernie missed his boat payment.

Seriously, let's forget about New Jersey and focus on keeping COTA viable. One race here is all we really need.

 COTA is great and the best chance F1 will ever get to stick in the USA. Focus should lie on bringing the Frence GP back. With Renault and everything they should have a race.
