Best Driver Sebastian Vettel
Worst Driver Giedo van der Garde
Best Team Red Bull
Best Overtake -
Best Moment I'm biased on this but Valtteri Bottas 3rd position in qualification
DRS + Tyres DiResta and Grosjean showed these tyres could last long.
And the race in a sentence... Safety car free GP, but one unnecessary death on track (RIP marshall)

It was nice to have a race that wasn't dominated by tyre wear. Drivers were clearly pushing a lot more than any other point this season, there was plenty of sliding, the odd drift and lap times that actually dropped through the race and got to within a few seconds of the pole time.

I think the wet weather during FPs meant some set ups were compromised. If the FPs were dry, I expect the race would have been closer.

DRS was too much of a factor. I don't like double DRS zones - 1 zone gives you enough of an advantage, I don't see why you should get two bites of the cherry. Some tracks shouldn't have DRS at all - Canada included, because it is a track that promotes overtaking naturally due to its layout.

Canada is one of my favourites races of the season because it is usually very exciting. This years didn't live up to some of the exceptional races here in recent times, but it was certainly one of the better races so far this season - and that shows how poor the entertainment has been this year because of the tyres.

Best Driver Paul di Resta. Great job going so long on on set of tyres.
Worst Driver Van de Garde. Just hopeless today.
Best Team Red Bull. Untouchable at the moment.
Best Overtake Not sure. None really stood out.
Best Moment Hamilton having a go back at Alonso. I was expecting the Ferrari to pull away quite quickly after the initial pass.
DRS + Tyres Tyres seemed about right. PdR did a massive stint on his one stop, most drivers did 2 stops and were still able to push. That's about what I want to see from the tyres. DRS was almost right. I expected it to be way too easy. It was still just slightly too easy, but in more or less equal cars it was possible to put up some defence.
And the race in a sentence... Too strung out.
