The worlds greatest spectacle is over and here is the top finishers of the Senior:

J McGuinness +10
M Dunlop + 7.5
B Anstey + 1.0
J Hillier
G Martin
M Rutter
W Dunlop
D Harrison
D Stewart

Four riders lapped at over 131 mph on the last lap.
What do the mechanical whizz kids here thing is the speed at which there probably ain't no more.

Aye. Not so nice for that Japanese guy, though.

It's an amazing spectacle. I hope to be there to see some of it next year.

The future will be in alternative power sources. The electric bikes are getting 5mph faster each year for their one lap. With less rules petrol bikes could go to 140mph lap average. but eventually the electric bikes will take over with their higher torque and power. Maybe a hybrid gas turbine /electric will be the ideal configuration for the Senior over 5 laps.
