Hi,
I have owned an MGA reg number 356 LMD for 15 years. I know quite a bit about its past history but I am now searching for details about its racing career which was in the 60's when I understand that it raced at Goodwood, Silverstone and Brands Hatch. It also apparently competed in a team of 3 cars called 'Scuderia Safety Fast' in London Motor Club road rallies. I would be grateful for any information about all this or if you can let me know who may be able to help.
Many thanks,
Phil Parmenter

Phil,
Do you have a driver's name? If it was club-level motorsport, your best bet would be MGCC/BARC race programmes etc.

The London Motor Club merged with North London Enthusiats Car Club to become the London Car Club and their archives may have the rally data you need.

The driver's name was Ken Roe. Many thanks for the tips - I'll follow them up. By the way I couldn't find this post when looking under 'Nostalgia' - in fact not quite sure how I found it (I think it was via 'My last 10 posts' somewhere) - any tips on how to navigate around the forums or am I just being stupid!

Phil,
I can dig out all the MGCC Silverstone programmes & have a look for you, also Brands sprints etc - give me about a week & then give me a nudge.

I think Abarth specialist Tony Castle-Miller (Google for *Garage address in Oxfordshire) was an official at London Motor Club so he may know where any archives where held although his was a little later era. That's great JH - thanks
*It was Middle Barton Garage but he is now a little further away.
Jonathan Palmer also a competing member of LMC ?
