My level of motorsports interest is huge, F1 is just a small part of that. I'll pretty much watch anything on 4 wheels that's being driven fast but my order of preference is as follows:

Le Mans/WEC
F1
GP2 - If anything I'm finding GP2 more entertaining this season
Indycar
GP3
BTCC
Blancpain Endurance Series
Grand Am
FIA GT
British Rallycross
WSR
WTCC
NASCAR (I find it quite nice background noise)

I'll watch virtually everything else but those above are my babies, especially Le Mans/WEC. I see F1 more as it's level of coverage is incomparable to other series, but I care about a Le Mans/WEC race far more than any specific F1 race, on average I got to 6 events at Silverstone each year. I also play online and one of the best ranked players in the world at Forza (It helps knowing how to tune a car AND drive fast), I want to dip into iRacing etc more but time constraints limit me to only sporadic gaming at the moment.

One thing that does frustrate me is all the 'F1 Only' types I work with, unless you name a driver that is in a top F1 team then they automatically think they're rubbish. If you talk about a great Le Mans race, or Blancpain etc they look at you all baffled and stuck without some fanboi F1 dig to retort with. There's far more to motorsport than F1.........

Outside of actually watching on TV I'm very lucky I live close to Silverstone and have friends working on site, it means I get to many events each year and genuinely enjoy them all, Le Mans/WEC being my yearly highlight.

Like a drug addiction. I waste hours of my time and piles of my money chasing it and only leave with the satisfaction of having watched it.

Yet I always go back for more. It's like McQueen may have said more eloquently, life can be split into two times - time racing and time spent waiting to race.

Hell, I think wasting a whole weekend on the couch and these goddamn forums is time well spent if it was a good race.

I've watched F1 since the Mansell days but since 2007, its all gone a bit 'meh'.

Give me a call when either LH, SV or FA are in the same team...

As you can see from the pics I took, I was seriously involved in the game. Not so much anymore.

I will watch F1, some Indycar, a little Nascar and very little sports car on the telly. Did watch a goodly chunk of Le Mans.

Open wheel cars always held the most interest for but that has seriously waned. Not much real racing and the cars don't hold that much interest for me.

I live about an hour from Laguna Seca but go over there only to see old friends, usually at the historics.

It would be fair to say that I long for the "good old days."

The link below is what I have up on flickr, a little over 1K images. I have over 70K in my archives. Last racing image I took was in '97. There won't be any more.

You can take my beer, my weed, my LSD and my coke. Even my BBQ meat, but if one touches or blocks me from watching F1, I get really really pissed.

Haven't miss one race (I only boycotted the Turkish GP in 2008, all alone.. heh) since 1994.

The past couple of years I added more motorsport to follow in between the F1 races. Have done Le Mans a couple of times (went there to watch it live) and loved it immensely. The lower formula's like GP2, Formula 3.5 and even A1GP and stuff like that, hell, I even watch NASCAR if nothing else is on. As long as it has wheels and burning rubber, and chicks in latex suits I am happy.

My neighbors may not be to happy with my F1 addiction, because the volume of my tv cannot go any louder than the max when the race starts... even when the race is starting very early early. I had many neighbors who left, possibly because of the loud sounds on Sundays.

It's an Uber-addiction.
