Wait - what? When I read some stuff about hips a week ago I thought it was some dumb joke. His hips might actually be a problem to fit in the Red Bull cockpit? You have to be kidding me. Never heard anything like that. And he drove in this years car at Silverstone, didn't he.

If Carlo Vanzini was correct, they might announce Ricciardo today.
Is Mr. Mateschitz back from holiday?

Well Mansell actually had a big phat ass, not slightly feminine pelvic region.

I'm still confident the seat will be Kimi's!

Again, they have nothing to gain by announcing it early. So I wouldn't be surprised if they delay it until the end of the season. Now if Ferrari confirm their drivers in Singapore (either Kimi/Massa, Kimi/Alonso, Alonso/Massa or Alonso/someone else), I'm sure RBR will follow. I have a feeling that they're waiting for Ferrari to make the move first and they're doing it for publicity of course.
There are also almost no reports out there linking Kimi to RBR anymore except the latest Bild article, which reads more like speculation than anything else.

Dr Helmut Marko is going to announce Sebastian Vettel's new teammate, tonight at 21:15 CET at 'Sports und Talk' programme on Servus TV #F1
@sebvettelnews
Well, there you have it.
Best of luck to Ricciardo.

Is it sad that I am now wondering if Servus has an internet stream?

Are there any further sources confirming this other than the tweet?

Well the Bild articles last week were claiming that high level sources said it would be confirmed this week via Servus or the Red Bull website. Mind you they also said Mateschitz had changed his mind and was after Kimi.
After the Alonso false alarm last night I will be taking a wait and see approach. I see Servus do have a live stream. My German is fairly rusty though!

No. Though Servus does have Helmut Marko scheduled to be interviewed at 21:15.
Could be someone putting one and one together and getting three.

Well you don't need to know much German to understand the name 'Ricciardo' when he says it.

I still had a tiny bit of hope for Kimi getting the seat, but now its clear.
If HELLmut is announcing the driver, it must be Ricciardo.

Ha, true. According to someone on twitter the new driver will be on the show too, but my reading of the program description just mentions another special guest from F1 alongside Marko.

Ricciardo confirmed on ServusTV. Marko says it will be "a minimum of three years" (so I guess 3 + option).
