"I am too drunk to taste this chicken"

And thus a state was born.

After a weekend of curious right turning action NASCAR is back at an oval, and they brought all their friends along.

Thats right, not a double down of NASCAR racing,

Posted Image

But a Double-Double Down of NASCAR racing!!

Posted Image

Tonight at 8pm we have the Craftsman Trucks on Speed
On Friday we have Busch Series at 7:30 on ESPN
And adding in the 7 special spices and seasonings is the Winston Cup Series on Saturday, 7:30 on TNT.

Mr. SR388, why is this OP so half assed?

I am busy.

Where is Kentucky?

Above Tennessee in a limbo of not in the south but too weird to be in the midwest.

What are they known for?

Booze, and sending hideous players to the NBA

I expect NASCAR to catch good ratings this weekend since NOTHING else is going on in America. This is what we call the dead period in the USA. NBA is done, NHL is done, MLB isn't super important before the All-Star game in July, and it is too early to think about the NFL. So now it is time for NASCAR to get its shine box on.

I also expect Kyle Busch to run every race and ruin everything for everyone.

Expect John Wes Townley to do something either spectacular (66/1) or spectacularly stupid (3/5), to draw those TV cameras closer to his Zaxby's truck, as he races at The Colonel's home track.
He'd better be careful.

Here's a picture of a healthy apple for all our American fryends ( get the play on words ;) )

Well, near enough.

Imagine if Sir Isaac Newton was American and when thinking about gravity a Wendy's Baconator fell on his head. The whole history of science could have been changed.

Sounds like a nice date OLB. When was the last time Samantha Busch had date-night, ya think?
Sam's Diary:
"Kyle is such a romantic. He booked a hot-air balloon ride.
Unfortunately it was the Goodyear blimp above the track, so I could watch him race again.
Still, nicer than the hauler..."

Solid runs from Quiroga and Paludo. Buescher needed that Top 5.
Hopefully Gale got rid of some rustiness and will get another opportunity soon. P13.
Moffitt P14 after a disastrous quali and starting from the back.
Bubba Wallace. Dude...

Somerace, all those laps led will lead to a victory.

I was kinda hopeful that assuming Vickers moves to the 55, Wallace would be the guy in the Gibbs #20 in 2014, but I'm kinda hoping that he returns to the Truck Series next year, unless he stop throwing away Ws.

Dover wasn't his fault, the Truck fell off; but this race and Charlotte were in his hands and he kills the truck.

Iowa feels like a Darrell Wallace-type track, so I expect him to be fast again.

Plus, no Cup guys likely with NW and Cup being in New Hampshire that weekend.

Bubba has lead the most laps so far this year in the Truck series? Though, that can make it more depressing.

My main concern is just, how long of a leash is Bubba gonna get. Like if he doesn't win this year, does he get a ride next year?

The speed is there. The talent is there. The car control is there.

The race-craft isn't.
