What I am praying for is like stepneygate in 2007, new information comes out and we find out to what extent Merc cheated and they get dqd from the constructors and WDC and slapped with a $100M fine
Only that will be justice ...

Inverse is potentially just as damaging to Mercedes, because we do not know how much control they had over the Pirelli test in Spain, if any, and teams now might learn much more than Mercedes has first time around. As much as I did not like what Brackly has done from PR point of view, they do deserve benefit of doubt as Ferrari received over their test.

Totto Wolff has said in an interview he is only OK with the test if the teams are not told what tyres they are using.

Just goes to show, even most of the teams think it's not worth it.Moot point anyway, doesn't look like the test will be extended to 4 days

Fernando Alonso @alo_oficial 2m
Just to make it more clear; The test in silverstone is not a "test tyre". There are only one tyre, there is nothing to be decided. #Info

All he's saying is the team can get data on a single tyre from a test driver and he can't be bothered. To all those who believed the line that 'any time in the car is valuable to a race driver'
