Congratulations & commiserations to Mr Hope. You'll soon feel that is a bad name, because there is no hope when you work for Target.

(yeah I worked there, and they don't pay enough to treat me like a wanker!)

Having said that, as a brand & store... it's massively better than Walmart.

Thanks. I know it's not exactly groundbreaking IndyCar news, but I do find it amusing that the only two actual jobs I've managed to scrounge in the past year and a half have been for Honda and for Target.

Maybe you have the privacy setting on these set to "Friends" instead of "Public"?

Really was AWESOME! All of the Indy Car drivers and those around the team are quite down to earth. You see me chatting up Ana Beatriz during lunch. She wasn't racing that weekend, but working hard for sponsors. She couldn't be more normal or HUNGRY to keep racing. And quite attractive, which shouldn't hurt! :smoking:

Rick Mears has to be in his 60s, but the guy is so fit, I told him he could easily slip back behind the wheel. He admitted the fire was just gone, and that's the time to get out before you hurt yourself or others. Can't argue with that.

After meeting Roger, I told him that for a racing fan that was like meeting Elvis or Billy Graham! He laughed, but seemed to appreciate the sentiment! :lol:

I've met Helio and Kanaan before, and they really are just regular guys, too, despite their success. Met Will Power for the first time, and he says he's just trying to get his season on track.

Met Chip Ganassi, too. Didn't want to bug him while he was eating, but he paused to say a quick hello to my brother and I. All the pit guys were great! Really special weekend, but if I ever get the opportunity to watch a race start from a luxury box again, I'll pass. Too clinical and quiet. Need the noise and vibrations!

Extra Special Kudos to my host, Susan, who made this fantastic adventure possible! :clap:
