Gave it a 10, as I thought it was the best race of the year--better than Bahrain and Australia, I think. Any race in which the drivers can push, I'm usually happy.

As a side note, very happy to see Vettel finally win his home race. Good drives from Raikkonen, Grosjean, Hamilton, Button, and Alonso, too.

Worst Driver: Bianchi for driving all the way up to the chicane, and then parking his car inches from the track. What was he going to do? Have the pitcrew fix the engine by changing the nose? Park the darn thing, which has no business being in F1 in the first place, somewhere safe already!

Yes I'm sure he was going to drive around like this looking for somewhere to park.

Tyres, tyres and tyres again. Tedious and definitely not real racing.

This race was above average and proved, yet again, that we don't need heaps of "overtaking" to get a good motor race.

All about tyres again, not my cup of tea really, hope the rest of the season is less tyre dominated. Gave it a 5/10

There is no Handbrake in a Formula 1 car.... rtl commented on that

Isn´t it ? Lotus tweeted:

DRS disabled, Bianchi flames from rear of car and park #EinsZweiDrive

Someone forgot to put the handbrake on...

I don´t blame Bianchi for that rolling car like some other armchair specialists do as seems to act and do the right thing in a surprising situation.

Back on topic:

3/10
It´s not much to rate, but well done to Pirelli to find a solution for the problems with the tyres as seems to worked better this weekend.

So many people rating this race with a 5 or less.... What the h*ll do you expect from a F1 race? This was a proper tight race with battles till the end... Or is the criterium that LH must finish 1st for a race to be good????

8/10 for me.
Best Driver Vettel
Worst Driver: dunno, rosberg and massa kinda dissapointed
Best Team: Either RBR or Lotus, but both made some mistakes too... Lotus gets the vote from me...
Best Overtake: Kimi on Rosberg
Best Moment Bianchi's car going solo
DRS + Tyres DRS ok. Tyres, pretty ok.

I did not see/know that so apologies

If that was the case of course it would have been better to wait until it was on the rope
That said drivers should not return to their car after they abandon it anyway

From a marshalling pov the best person to do anything such as switching a car off, putting it in neutral etc, is the driver - he/she is assumed to be more likely to be familiar with the controls than a marshal - especially with something like F1 where now with the FOM security around the paddock it is almost impossible for marshals to get a close look at the cars before the meeting. In addition if anything then goes wrong, e.g. on-board fire extinguisher getting fired by accident, there is less chance for irate teams etc to blame the marshals.

Bit of a slow burner with a great close finish. Lotus boys did well. Shame (for championship) that Vettel won but you can't have everything.

Lotus were almost certainly taking the piss, as they always do on Twitter. I remember them saying that Romain wasn't running at a point in winter testing because he'd gone to Paris to buy some socks....

Best Driver: Kimi or Jenson (Kimi for 2nd place and Jenson for managing the tyres well to get solid points finish)
Worst Driver: Massa (be amazed if Ferrari give him another year)
Best Team: Lotus (tyre management race = Lotus do great in the race, if they weren't so average in qualifying they might have won)
Best Overtake: none that stand out
Best Moment: Kimi chasing down Vettel, just a shame the race wasn't a few laps longer
DRS and Tyres: DRS was fine I guess, Tyres dominated and dictated all come race day again though

tyre management race means the 6 I gave this is pretty generous

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Massa for throwing away another chance to show why he might deserve his seat at Ferrari
Best Team: Lotus
Best Overtake: Kimi's overtakes into the final chicane
Best Moment: the last few laps
DRS + Tyres: OK OK
And the race in a sentence... a good solid race
