no (even though this question doesn't make sense).

Admitted? As if it wasn't obvious to everyone watching? :rotfl:

You are not well informed then, sorry, but I follow his interviews if they cross my desk, and he has definitely admitted to a personal error which allowed Button to move on.

Are you saying Vettel is a rare breed of a driver that admits his mistakes? Almost all drivers do that if it is obvious, and I hardly see the big deal about it.

I'm sure he did, though it was a pointless exercise on his behalf. What else was he going to say? The blown diffuser stopped working so i lost the rear end? :rotfl: We could all see the error on TV.

best part about that is:

When Kimi admits the mistake everyone is OH AH SO COOL GUY, SO DOWN TO EARTH.
When Vettel admits the mistake everyone is OMG SUCH A WEAKLING HE SHOULDN'T DO THAT

Well then, we should be not be having problem second guessing Sebastian whether he does, or doesn't admits to personal errors.

It is no coincidence that the ones trying to diminish Vettel's performance are die-hard Alonso or Hamilton fans.

Vettel is the driver that is doing what those 2 drivers were supposed to do and they have the most F1 supporters with Kimi. So it is a natural thing to attack the driver that is stealing their show. The status quo does not like being beaten. Especially not by the new young gun. Even the most fanatic Alonso and Hamilton fans know Vettel is special. Hamilton and Alonso themselves have said this themselves too (see Sky interview Hamilton last weekend, he literally said Vettel is a special driver and Alonso a few races ago said it is not just the car and that Vettel is a great driver).

But it is hard to admit your own hero being beaten. So what do you do? Make up stuff, twisting everything to make it look like a negative for Vettel, measuring with standards that even their favorite driver, nay even Senna and Fangio would not pass, most of their posts dedicated to that cause instead of supporting their favorite driver. It's called sour grapes.

In 10 years, Vettel will be seen for what he really is; a legendary F1 pilot on the same level as Senna, Fangio, Prost, Schumacher. Different in many ways, like all those are different to each other, but on the same level. Alonso and Hamilton will be remembered as a side-note to Vettel's career as the guys that were competing against him and did not achieve what they wanted.

Redbull have been very consistent over the past few years. what puzzles me about the "pinnacle of motorsport" is that no team has been able to challenge a drinks manufacturer that has broken the bank with the best engineers, strategist and Designers. Mclaren,Ferrari and Mercedes who are all car manufacturers have failed to mount a decent challenge and it looks like this is vettel's champoinship to lose again!! im not a vettel fan but i know he has the season wrapped up! all the other races will be formality. i would like to be proved wrong but doesnt look likely.....looking forward to 2014!! #Frustrated Fan.

I think people underestimate Seb because they don't realize the contribution of the driver in setting up the car. They say that Red Bull is the fastest car, not realizing the effort everyone in the team, including Sebastian Vettel, has put into making it so. I read somewhere that he spends a lot more time than other drivers in just interacting with the team, sorting out little issues etc. That's what makes him such a champion driver, not just the car.

Maybe if you didn't try to put them down as "a drink's company", you wouldn't be so frustrated.
Other then being owned and sponsored by 'a drink's company', Red Bull Racing is as much a racing team as any other. It's not like Red Bull, as you say, just broke the bank and poof... championships! The results that we see today is the culmination of an already established racing team, working hard for 9 years now, into developing the team that they are today. If you can not appreciate that for what it really is, you are not a #Frustrated Fan, but just a #Frustrated.

Exactly!

Red Bull was founded by Sir Jackie and son Paul Stewart, remember? They hit the podium in only their 5th Grand Prix, and were 4th in the 1999 WCC, their 3rd season, with a race victory, placing ahead of the likes of Williams, Benetton and Sauber, prior to the Ford take-over and Jaguar re-branding.

So, the team had actually been in the making for 8 years, before Red Bull took ownership.

This thread is so far off topic it's never getting back.

Seems you want to discuss everything except the topic.
