It seems Tony Stewart is in the wars again with an on and off track box on with Steve Kinser at the Kings Royal race at Eldora. I know nothing of the circumstances apart from what was reported but he does seem to get into trouble quite often!
He was kicked out of Australia after being arrested for hitting the track promoter! And seems to have had the odd kerfuffle in Nascar too.
And with the media pic of him and Steve who is the heavier! Niether look like professional athletes to say the least. Though are both very succesfull. Steve on dirt and Stewart on black ovals.

Tony Stewart had another rough night. The NASCAR star and track owner flipped in turn four on lap 16 after contact with his TSR teammate Steve Kinser. Stewart finished 23rd and surprised fans with comments about the crash on the public address system.

Not that on that type of race people could hear the P.A. system, but Tony went off on his employee (which I did not know about), and probably said something he might regret.

Meh, Smoke gets fired up after a wreck, and if there's anything resembling a microphone nearby, he'll use it. Nothing new.

Just recently he was going to take that punk Logano's head off, there's the post-helmet throwing at Bristol, and his deadpan Talladega rant.

Tony is in the wars again. Again in a Sprintcar. Though seemingly not his fault as he hit a lapped car that spun in front of him.
Evidently compound fracture to a leg. Not very nice for him or his career.

Ah, but WoOs run there 3 times a year. Ticket prices aren't bad ($25 USD), and the series runs 100+ races a year, most fans will travel a short distance to the races than other major series.

Plus, the 410 sprints don't put on the best show in sprint car racing. You get the problem with the smaller racing series and have a couple of haves, and a whole mess of nobodies in WoOs. Most of the midpack and field fillers are 360 races who stick the bigger engine in when the big series comes to town.

He'll be fine. They'll put rods in the bones to hold them together and he'll be in the car in two weeks, albeit with a relief driver.

Good article in the new Autoweek concerning sprint cars as a hole and Stewart.

Also say the best are now up around 950 hp.
