I Have a small collection of programmes from these countries which I use for research on jaguar cars ie who ran what and where and when etc among other research.
But no matter how many you have its always the ones you don't have that magically are the one you want that has the info in it.
Below is a list of UK programmes I have although there are about another 130 to type in as yet The format has changed slightly but happy to email excel spreadsheet to anyone
Is anyone interested in scanned copies/photocopies of ones I have for ones I don't have?

One specific programme I am chasing a copy of is the 1953 relay race held at Silverstone of course I have the 1952 programme and the 1954 one but having picked up some photos of the 1953 event I would like to put names to photos.

If a group of people who collect these programmes all interchanged copies of ones the have etc for ones they don't it would build up some decent libraries. I have one person in Australia who has a decent Australian NZ collection who is copying some of his.

I am in the process of typing up All the rest of the programmes Tasmania being second on the list

I do also have a couple hundred spares that we will type up and would be interested in swapping for ones we don't have.

Programme covers
I know there is a web site that features the covers of the programmes which the artwork is quite nice but it is the info inside that is far more important

Apart from the programmes themselves another very important aspect is the result sheets whilst a lot of the early UK events where professionally printed little books result sheets from Australia where 1 or more pages of gestetner pages stapled together and generally are far harder to source less printed maybe only for competitiors and not being nice books thrown away.
I had been working with graeme howard who made a point of collecting result sheets and do have a hundred or so Australian ones for events.
So love to hear from anyone who has these as well

What type of U.S. Programs?

We have been contacted by one well known researcher and subsequently scanned 10 or so programmes to exchange for ones he had that I didn't have but my guess is there must be others who collect programmes that have gaps in their collections. I am specifically chasing copies of programmes from late 1936 through to say 1952 to try an identify all entries of SS100's in Race meetings hillclimbs and rallies etc so that I can cross reference these entries against photos I have to determine who was driving. Any photos of SS100's or XK120's racing in the UK, Europe or anywhere would be of great interest
I am getting around to typing up a list of US and Canadian programmes I have and will post the list as soon as my wife types it up

I have found a complete set of official results for this event if anyone is interested.
I am chasing copies of old programmes and result sheets if anyone is interested in trading copies?

I am looking for a specific Silverstone programme 27th June 1953 Silverstone (MMEC)and also 1953 Westwood Park Sprint (Hagley Car Club).

Preferably the original but if not a copy would be excellent.

If you're in a hurry, it might be worth contacting some of the UK motoring specialists. Such as Chris Bayley, Pooks, Spencer Elton, etc..

I have removed the old list of UK programmes an updated with my current list interestingly I have been contacted by Philip Porter from the UK after seeing the list here from a google search and I was able to help him with a copy of a programme he needed.

In case you are not familiar with it, this austrian site has a lot of programs from the thirties, fifties and sixties. You can download some of them at least partially and you can always copy them overall with a snipping tool.

Just click on the links and the programmes for each editon of the event will appear. There is a lot of motorbikes but in most events there was also at least one race for cars. There are plenty of photos too.

 

Not sure, though, if you will find any Jaguar.

Only just come across this while looking for something else. Very useful stuff. I have most 1940s and 1950s Shelsley Walsh programmes but there again the MAC archive has them all as does BOC at Prescott. I will list those we have of the late Graham Howard and post the list here.
