Won't happen from dirty side, he'll have his hands full with grosjean and Alonso.Vettel gets the jump, leads into the first corner...

Vettel gets the jump, leads into the first corner...
Thats what I fear.
Its generally assumed that Mercedes will fall backward during the race, so if Vettel gets ahead of Hamilton, then Hamilton just causes a train until the first pitstops, by which time we know who the winner is, cause they're 20 seconds down the road already.
Note: I only said "fear" for stopping a thrilling race finish, not because I particularly dont wish any one driver to win.

"Only"? I read somewhere that 40 degrees were predicted...

2. Raikkonen
3. Vettel
Long hard day at the office for Mercedes.

Will suck for him if he has to give up a position to Raikonnen again given how fast he had looked all weekend
I don't think it's impossible for Hamilton to hold on so should be a very interesting race if Vettel doesn't get a great sttart

What do you mean by quite important and will suck for Grosjean? If he had performed consistently well, he would have this kind of opportunity regularly. His inconsistent performance is no reason to feel sorry for him to shine. Of course, I also want him to win the race and be ahead of Vettel, but let's not get carried away with all the 'Oh poor, Grosjean!'. He is the reason why Lotus is behind Mercedes in team standings at the moment. If he had done his job, Lotus would be second or third ranked in WCC. It will suck for the team if he does not convert this into a good result and gets into unnecessary tangle with anyone.Quite important race for Grosjean

No track is dirty in the traditional sense anymore. The track, particularly the grid area, is particularly well-cleaned by the sweepers (suckers actually) these days. The racing side may be a bit more grippy, but the other side is certainly not dirty and the difference is not that big.The dirtiness of the dirty side here (and he generally) is overplayed. Think back to Massa and '08.

One safety-car like in Germany and Vettel lose all his gap. There is more to watch today

Fair point. I'm not saying it will be unfair just that it will seem as though Grosjean will never be good enough to beat Raikonnen

Potential for Hungarian GP to be fascinating. One team's simulation last night had Webber winning from 10th, by starting on prime tyres

That's interesting and I am not totally surprised. The possibility is always there, but the chances are less and those starting at front have an advantage. One factor could be how long they could make the soft tyres last and whether they can avoid getting into traffic after the first stop.Fair point. I'm not saying it will be unfair just that it will seem as though Grosjean will never be good enough to beat Raikonnen

if this is true, the options allready used in qually will not last more than 10 laps no matter what. they will wear down very very fast so yeah, Perez and Webber will be leading as it's no time to develop a gap to cover a pitstop.

Taking bets on:
- Webber KERS failure $1.05
- Webber gearbox problem $2
- Webber pitstop bungled $2.10
- Webber DRS issue $3.40
- Webber engine failure $5
- Webber differential failure $5.70
- Webber given order to not attack Vettel $5.70
- Webber ordered to move over for Vettel $5.80
- Another variation on an unusual problem for Webber $6

That would be one hell of a race.Hamilton rockets off the line, Gro flies last Seb. Alonso dukes out around the outside of T2 with Seb. Webber instructed to let Seb through after 1st round of stops, denies request. Hamilton holding up everyone at the front and Gro does a do-or-die move and spins Lewis as Alonso cruises into the lead, Vet comes storming back but cannot get past. ENJOY!

How can they calculate that Webber can win from 10th? So many variables though (poor start etc)

Did anyone else see that interview with Lewis where he commentated his pole lap with Martin Brundle? He was so likeable there.
It looked to me as he was on drugs, shacking and stuttering. Usually he is way more composed
