I failed to make it to the Classic this year. Last year there was a guy just inside the main entrance to the art 'tent', selling blueprint style line drawings of several makes of cars. I was hoping to get a few more as pressies for friends, as the ones I got last year proved extremely popular.

Does anyone have any idea who he is / contact details. My efforts at finding him on the www have not been successful.

Any info welcome

Chris

There was a ghastly collage of Damon Hills career for sale by the door in this year's Art area for £2000! Son nudged me when he saw it and said "That's really shite" to which I replied "I'm sure his mother would like it" before realising we were standing next to the proud "artist" and had to slip quietly away....

A lot of those blueprint drawings are from Model Cars, the 1960s and early 1970s magazine - I wonder about copyright.

If nobody tells him it's shite then he won't try to improve. My customers had no problem telling me when I produced a bad colour rough!
