Retirements?  I think the plot got lost somewhere along the way, lol.  The point was to figure out ways for Daniel to save tyres for the race so he can get a better strategy and finish higher.

He is currently winning on points (easily in the dry), i'd say his current way of doing things is working just fine ;)

Now that Kimi's confirmed at Ferrari I feel happy that Dan has got the Red Bull Drive. A bonus as an Australian is that it increases interest in the sport here and helps keep F1 live on free to air TV. Would be nice to see him upset Vettel in a few races next year too.

Webber lost his mojo around the end of 2010, rather than drag out his career over a few more years he's stepped aside for an upcoming Aussie driver. Great story. We just have to hope Dan gets a decent car. Everyone has jumped to the conclusion that the Red Bull will be leading next year but it wouldn't surprise me if they got bumped down to 4th or 5th team for a year or two of the new regs. Either way it will be a nice pairing.

Webber's agressive driving style never suited the Pirelli tyres. If we had the Bridgestones for the last 3 years he would have been far more competitive.

Trundling around hoping to score a point doesn't grab headlines, getting fantastic qualifying results that ricciardo has gotten does. Then TR just hope they get lucky and finish towards the front. Midfield teams don't get any attention so TR are smart to go all out with their strategies to try and get noticed.

Many Kimi fanboys continually found fault with Dan to promote Kimi.

A mirror would make a nice accessory.

For MW fans we are well aware of his ability and are happy to see him race without silly walk on water expectations.
As for Dan he has the potential to beat MW record to what extent we will see.
Your down grading of Dan before he has even started a race for RedBull shows a lack of respect for his achievements so far even if you don't rate them.

Tell me more. That is I do not recall making a single post on Ricciardos abilites or qualities as a driver as such, unlike you with respect to Räikkönen. I mean you profess to research things, perhaps you should look research up in a dictionary.

I'm looking forward to this new driver pairing for two reasons:

1. Ricciardo did a good enough job to deserve the RBR seat

2. We'll finally be able to gauge Vettel against a different driver
