Please, need more information about this case:

During the exhibition run named "Montée Historique des S de Treffort", held on Sunday, 30 September 2007, a sidecar crashed in the village of Treffort-Cuisiat, Ain, France. The unnamed sidecar pilot, aged 64, was killed almost instantly. His female passenger was transferred by helicopter to Lyon hospital. Despite several accounts reported the death of the sidecar passenger, she eventually recovered.

After the accident the event was immediately suspended. The Montée Historique des S de Treffort is a vintage car and motorcycle event organized by the "Association Revermontoise pour la Conservation des Mécaniques Anciennes" since 2000, along the course of a national motorcycle hillclimb which first edition took place in 1952. In 1968 the Treffort hillclimb for cars was a round of the European Hillclimb Championship.
