Unfortunately the relevant page on the AM Heritage Tust site, www.amht.org.uk/p/296/lm18-aston-martin-team-car‎, is not available, I'm wondering if anyone can make a connection between this white mouse seen on LM 18 earier this year at Silverstone and the White Mouse Stable / Garage  ?

RacingSportsCars does not suggest there is one, but does show B Bira driving another Ulster #G5/588/U in the 1935 TT.

Relevant answers maybe credited and used in a forthcoming blog.

Thanking you in anticipation of your responses.

You can still view the cached page on LM18:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:2dZfpY_VP9wJ:www.amht.org.uk/p/296/lm18-aston-martin-team-car+&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

and the similar page on the Bira car:

http://webcache.goog...n&ct=clnk&gl=uk

and there's some more info on the Bira car here (scroll down):

http://astonuts.free.fr/ZEBARN/prewar.html

The Bira team bought their Ulster specifically to race in the 1935 TT, and it was of course painted 'Bira blue'. After this one race the car was sold (at the end of the 1935 season). I'm not sure why the Bira white mouse should be on LM18 - he doesn't seem to have had any connection with it.

I've never heard of any connection between LM18 and Bira, but I reviewed my pictures from VSCC Silverstone and it now has a large white mouse on the front as well as one either side (as on the Bira Ulster).

AFAIK it is still owned by Nick Mason.

AFAICR the Bira car was in pieces for many years and only restored relatively recently. Bira broke down in the 1935 TT and Chula sold the car shortly afterwards.

The Bira car is owned and raced by Hubert Fabri. Understandably it sports a White Mouse symbol and has, on occasion, been teamed with Chloe and Holly Mason's Ulsters at VSCC meetings when they have run team races. I think this will be the reason that LM18 carries the symbol these days.
