Maldonado can be one of the quickest drivers on the grid on his day, especially on street circuits. Bottas leading the qualy-battle in his rookie season is really impressive.

Worth pointing out that Maldonado was 17 seconds and two places ahead of Bottas in the race, however. Bottas is promising, but not ready for a step up to the sharp end of the grid just yet.

Lotus have to be quick, there is rumour that Mclaren hasn`t got Perez sponsors moneys and Whitmars isn`t happy with Perez. So Mclaren is thinking Hulk.. But i am almost sure its Hulk for Lotus. Massa is too slow and crashes etc.. Massa would be fine at Force India. I would like to see Davide Valsechi next seat, but i don`t think that happens.. :(

He stays at williams next year, almost done deal. Give the kid time and better car. Hope williams is in top 6 next year, i wan`t to see Bottas really showing what he can do with good car. Mika Häkkinen believes him 100%, he has supported him many years.. We will see.

Sorry for off-topic.

Edit. Bottas had serious problems with the car @ Singapore race. That`s why he was so "slow".. He told it in finnish interview.

so it seems LotusF1 has gone the Force India way of last year regarding driver announcement  :o

Lotus Boss Says Driver Decision on hold for now

Lotus team boss Eric Boullier says a decision on who replaces Ferrari-bound Kimi Raikkonen next year is on hold until the outfit has sorted out its financial situation .....

they're gonna milk it, just like FI did.

Obviously time to call Nick Heidfeld back again. Why not? He doesn't cost much and he is solid point scorer. That is a no-brainer.

And they wouldn't need to sign a contract, since the old one was never completed.. :p

I can totally see Lotus/Boullier hiring Massa. At least they gonna be consistent with their thinking. For them Grosjean is doing a great job scoring 37% of Kimi's points so Massa must be stunning since he has 47% of Alonso's points.  ¬¬
