Good video here of Coulthard discussing his career:

Starts with honesty about his ability at the start which is something I've liked about him post retirement.

More from the same producer, Mario Muth:

Great thanks for the link

Glad to see the class of people interviwed by Mario Muth is improving too.

I wasn't too impressed with that weird docter Hartstein who went all crazy on twitter when FIA didn't renew his contract and Darren Heath well he better stfu and take pretty pictures ;)

Very human and sincere. No pretenses there. Great stuff from DC. Really great stuff. One thing I've noticed though is lack of mentioning Kimi. Some doubts there probably?

It's well worth the watch, particularly what he was up to at the end of 2004.

Thanks for posting pRy!! I really enjoyed this, as I did the Maurice Hamilton video.

I was never a huge fan of DC when he was driving, but really like him now. I admire his honesty in his abilities - and he was good. But he is very honest and I like that.

Always liked him. He just had too much bad luck what comes to his team mates:)

Fantastic to watch. Such a great guy.

...and it helps that he's a very smart, bright man - makes it even more interesting.

That should be a must watch for every aspiring driver. And quite a few that are currently on the grid...

DC, I was always a fan. But you are a true gent.

Great summation honestly presented. Though this confirms that his 'good boy' bad image played a lot on his mind, as was obvious in his driving (and presenter) when he started to act too tough later. Seems to be finding the right balance now though.

You won't watch a more honest career interview than that.  We he was racing, he drove a Smartcar at home.  DC isn't a poseur.

Obviously he didn't discuss everything, he still has to deal with the same people today.
