I see you're fond of making words sound like dirty things, V3TT3L. You'd fit right in in Kansas, apparently.

What's the matter with Kansas vanity-plate applicants?

This article asks the very question.

Lucky for us, this guy beat the system.

I'm so disapointed with NASCAR... no crash at all in DOVER

They are racing too honest.

If they keep it this way... NASCAR shutdown.

Kligerman goes pink at Kansas: Parker Kligerman enters this weekend's Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City with three goals: raise awareness, raise money and raise the banner. Kligerman's #77 Camry will be outfitted with a special Kyle Busch Foundation "Project Pink: Protect Your Pair" paint scheme in an effort to raise awareness and money for Pretty In Pink - a Raleigh, N.C.- based foundation whose mission is to provide financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients regardless of their ability to pay.

An Allison to make ARCA debut: Justin Allison, grandson of legendary NASCAR driver Donnie Allison and nephew of NASCAR Driver Bobby Allison, is looking to carry on the Allison family legacy. Allison successfully tested at Nashville Superspeedway on Monday to receive approval for his ARCA Series debut at Kansas Speedway on Friday. (jayski)

#29-Kevin Harvick wins the Kansas pole.

Top 10 starting lineup-

#29-Kevin Harvick

#17-Stenhouse Jr.

#48-Johnson

#2-Keselowski

#22-Logano

#88-Earnhardt Jr.

#20-Kenseth

#27-Menard

#99-Edwards

and #11-Hamlin

Harvick breaks a 254-race pole drought with today's pole. His last pole came at New Hampshire in Sept. 2006, a race he won.

This is Richard Childress Racing's first pole since Sept. 2007 at New Hampshire (Clint Bowyer).

Word in the back of the pick-up is Stenhouse will receive a consolation 'outside' pole award of his own tonight.

Stenhouse had a good run here in the spring as well, a good chance to win under a late caution IIRC?

Sure the other teams are thrilled that Kenseth won that race and led the bulk of the laps.

He got caught out during a caution after he pitted from a sizable (like 3 seconds) lead and had to start at the back of the pack for the final restart.

Ricky wants to go fast.

Stenhouse fastest in practice. Jimmie spun and there was smoke. Kyle and Kurt both wrecked, went to back-ups, and will start from the back.

Question of the day- As a NASCAR fan, which image do you associate when you hear "Ricky and The Cougar"?

a) ...

ricky-bobby-cougar.jpg

or b) ?

This fight is fantastic, those cars are just 5 points apart.
Schrubmacher wreched ChaseLessLowski to give the MonsterMachine the NNS title, but at the Cup expense.

I doubt that Keselowski will do anything to Kyle in the Cup.  Messing with a Chase driver when you're not a Chase driver would set a very bad precedent, for yourself and for NASCAR, and I think Brad is smart enough to realize this once he cools down.

It's NASCAR. Drivers have been encouraged to settle things on the race track. Not to mention one of its greatest ever was nicknamed intimidator.

I won't be surprised even if it's not this weekend. Maybe on some other track.

You mean Kes pulling a late Bower spin in Miami to screw Kyle's chances? We now know that you can't help a driver THAT much, I wonder if screwing THAT much is allowed....

Just got off the conference call with Jeff, Jimmie, and Mr. Hendrick. All are very excited for today's race.

Tony Stewart told me that he is excited for banana pudding.

Gordon was technically in the Chase when he wrecked Bowyer.  I can't recall one instance where a non-Chaser abused his status as a spoiler and wrecked a Chase contender.

Logano being a chode and Kenseth's paladin-esque battle with the evilest car.
