The last computer game that most of us on this Forum last played was probably  " Space Invaders "

However the lastest " Official F1" computer game from Codemasters includes races/drivers and circuits from the 1980s and 1990s

Have to say on first viewing it looks epic

P.S. The Lauda Ferrari was a free gift given to those who pre-ordered the game

I've bought the last 3 Codemasters F1 games, F1 2010/11/12 and this time enough is enough, I'm tired of the same bugs and problems being in every year. I love F1 games but for me fancy graphics alone simply do not do it.

The same problems in this game year on year are never fixed, they just addon a new gimmick (kers-drs, young driver test, classic) and ship it out yet again.

I'm really having to force myself not to buy it this year, its hard but I've been burnt by their games just too many times now and the problems are never fixed :(

The game is fine for someone who likes casual arcadey games but the core game issues make it a joke for real fans who want to play things like career mode.

My last was Defenders, a great game and set in to a table at my favourite pub so you sat with your beer while you played.

First and last Codemasters game I played was TOCA2, when I finally put it down three years later I realised I had seriously under estimated the power of Play Station ;)

As I mentioned in another thread, the sound effects for the turbo engine seems to lack realism. Odd when considering that the onboard sound of the V10 has always pretty good since the days of Grand Prix from Microprose in the early 1990's! It can't be that hard for them to get the deep tones of a V6 turbo can it? It seems like the promo video on youtube with Berger driving Jerez in a F1-87/88C is powered by a F3000 engine.
