Unless I am very much mistaken .... it was his birthday today

Still a legend in F1 even though not working that much day to day.

Happy birthday Murray.

See more at Raelene's post here

for some background to this living legend who was no good at driving or motorcycling, to quote himself.

And the Japanese GP FP tomorrow.  Good weekend.

Andy

Happy birthday Murray. I hope you are going to live for another 90 years at least :) He is a true legend. I would like so much to hear him commentating another F1 race :)

He remains F1's only voice. These days, watching the Race on mute or not doesn't make a difference... Okay, okay... BBC minus Jordan is still better than Sky's...  :smoking:

Iconic voice of generations of motorsport fans.

Martin, who will never be Murray, does a very good job I believe.

There will be a special programme about him this afternoon, but it will be on the red button and BBC I player. Any ideas how I can watch this in the Netherlands?
