Nothing is available in the web about the Sainfield road course, in which was held the Temple 100. No maps, no details, no information.
This is what I've found:
It was inaugurated in 1921. The public roads course was almost 25 miles in length, and was situated between the small town of Saintfield in Co Down, Northern Ireland, and the Temple crossroads on the Belfast to Ballynahinch road, passing through the Lisburn Road, Drumalig Road, Oughley Road and the Old Belfast Road.
The circuit was slightly modified over the years until 1999, when the course was declared too dangerous for racing by the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland and the Temple 100 road races were stopped, after Philip Conroy's fatal accident, the fourth in ten years.
The Temple 100 returned in 2001, but it was hosted in the permanent circuit of Nutts Corner Motor Sport Centre in Crumlin, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
