The North Herts. Centre of the 750 Motor Club holds regular members' evenings at a pub close to junction 22 of the M25 , just north of London. They are nothing grand, just a room upstairs with audio- visual gear and good CAMRA ales but we usually have interesting speakers with 750 club connections.

This November 6th we are having a guest speaker whose career was entirely outside the 750 club so we though it might be nice to offer non members a chance to come along and hear Hugh Dibley entertain us with his long career in racing.

As many of you may know Hugh was a BOAC pilot who raced in Formula Junior, and best known, big sports cars for many years. Maybe less well known is his role as part -owner and MD of Palliser cars.

Appropriately for a jet pilot he is one of the few people to have raced a gas turbine car (the Howmet).

Some of Hugh's many drives can be found here  http://www.racingspo...-Dibley-GB.html

So if anybody here would like to hear Hugh Dibley's talk and can get to junction 22 of the M25 for 8pm on Wednesday November 6th please send me PM here and Ican give you more precise details.
