While this has been the most ridiculous of all "records" and shouldn't have ever been talked about due to different points systems, more races per year, much better reliability and longer lasting careers...it should be noted that we've got a new "all-time-best" and are probably going to have another new all-time-best before the end of this season (what an inflation of all-time-bests this is):
1. Vettel 1796
2. Alonso 1778
3. Hamilton 1738
4. Schumacher 1566
5. Button 1204
Hopefully, Vettel won't arrive with anything that has got a 1796 on it come Singapore.
