It must be demoralising just to wake up in the morning to realise you're part of any team other than Red Bull, knowing you're about to be spanked in front of a global television audience.

As the wheels come off Williams, McLaren try their latest "radical" chassis and Lotus/Ferrari switch to desperado tactics, Red Bull execute perfect strategy and flawless execution.

This is easily the best team in F1 since the Ferrari dream team. Put a superstar in the car and we're witnessing history.

They are the best team, yes.

...but McLaren did not come here with a new, radical chassis. They tried something very different and unconventional set-up wise on Friday, that's all. Big difference.

These are themes of the last four years, but this race summed it up nicely.

Best car maybe. (but not obviously and not always throughout the year as some make out).
I am disappointed in Red Bull having had no real competition this year. McLaren, Ferrari, Lotus and Mercedes have been a let down.
But hey well done Seb and RB, roll on next year!

Well done, a great team altogether, deserving champions. Gutted for Webber DNF because they could've really celebrated in style. Best of luck for the next season, but I hope the other teams will catch up to make it harder for them!

I think Vettel got a BIG points gap built up relatively early and so all the other teams (at varying points) decided to 'focus on 2014', leaving his path even more clear. But credit to him and RB, they got the job done in those early races effectively.

4 titles in 9 attempts - a truly remarkable achievement.

A remarkable team.

Amazing team, and Vettel is only considered a superstar because he's lucky enough to be driving it.

Four titles on the bounce does not come to any old average driver. Exceptional team - including Vettel.

Disappaointed in Mclaren and Ferrari for not having the ability to catch Red Bull within 5 years of regulation stability.

Big up to Red Bull for spanking them.

Hope that one of the other teams can do something over the winter - otherwise we're in for another tedious season next year...

Nothing against Vettel - he did what he had to with the machinery he got. But I can't say that it makes for very interesting racing...

This may be the most balanced thing I've read on a racing forum ever.

The RB9, incidentally, is Newey's 10th car to take the WCC.

Two things: Schumacher, and the Ilmor lump in the back.
