Alesi is just like a De Cesaris, only with much better press (for reasons obscure to me). Both very talented and quick, but both hot headed to the point of being useless. The truth on De Cesaris unravelled earlier than it did for Alesi, but the end result was just the same. The main difference is that De Cesaris never had the support and cars – indulgence - Alesi had.
I appreciate we all have had our favourite drivers and still remember them fondly, but the distance of time should teach that indeed:
