I don't think anyone in their wildest dreams expected the event to be as popular as it immediately became.

Back in Oz & recovered enough to finally post.

Great event & was certainly worth the trip even if only for one w/e. Thanks to TNF'ers Rodger Lund &  Cirrus for taking time out to say hello.

This event was once described to me as a bit of an English Snob Fest but was very happy to find it as the World’s Biggest Fancy Dress party with a few cars & planes thrown in for good measure. Congrates to the organizers with the vision for constructing this fantastic event. I would very much like to be back one day and I'm sure I only saw about 50% of what was on offer. Highlight - Lancaster Bomber's and those cars. You English & Europeans don't know how spoiled you are for quality over there.

The week in the UK turned in to a bit of a blur where Sonny and I met some wonderful people. Thanks to all for their hospitality (You know you you all are)

Just a thought, on the disparaging criticism of the Chris Rea replica of the Dino... it was never meant to be an exact replica, for Pete's sake: it was a movie prop. It was meant to look and sound right on film, and be built within the movie's modest budget. That's all.  And that's what it did.
