I'm used to playing with myself here but talking to myself is too much even for me. Where is everyone?

Working 22 hours this weekend, that coupled with some youtube-gaming videos, that's what I have time to do!

Justin Allgaier (literally) stands on tires when he's interviewed to be the same height as Jerry Punch and I'd still bet the house on him and fight against Dillion. Either of them. Hell, both of them.

These are the Nationwide winners for the season with 1 race to go.

Can you spot the eligible drivers?

If it stays this way next year I'll completely ignore the series.

What's worse is two of them (Hornish Jr, Smith) are Cup washouts and a third (Bayne) has been a part-time Cup driver for 3 years now. :p

Blaney is the only upcoming talent with a win in the Nationwide series this year.

This situation is quite unfair  :well:

Brian Scott was going to win a race, but Kyle Bush bumped him out of the lead.

It happens that Scott is a career man and Kyle is a NASCAR star and also an employer, as is Keselowski, Dale Jr, The Dillons [sort of].

They don't race on equal terms.

Also, Austin Dillon is going to win the championship without winning a single race.

That gripe might carry more weight in a race where Scott didn't put one of those owners in the wall.

I'm also not a fan of the new championship system. It means less full season participation from cup regulars, (and therefore some less overall interest/ratings), but they're still winning virtually all of the races, and less than inspired teams/drivers are now going in the books as champions. A reasonable compromise might be to recognize the best of the 'true' NW-series only drivers with a second award, something they could build on while not jumbling up the real championship. Kind of like that normally aspirated engine award in F1 (was it Clark Cup?) near the end of the turbo era.

JJ took some points for the pole position and probably one for leading a lap.

 Damn FoxSports, the race will be taped after midnite.

Not in a mood for RaceBUddy.

So I have to stay away from social networks until there

Well, First Row Sports has a low-quality stream every race that's easy on your connection, even my Canadia-tier terrible internet can handle it fine. But if you can't watch, don't worry. Judging by the first two races of the weekend absolutely nothing will happen.

Just heard JPM's spotter ask "You mad at me?" and Montoya tersely replied "Yes." Then there was a pause and Monty said "Disappointed."

No idea what that's about.

Evening chaps.  I'm going to beat the late-weekend depression by watching this race while reading a novel and eating my tea and drinking some wine. You can't pick the novel (and I only have one kind of wine) but you can tell me who's still in the championship race.

So. Who's got a realistic shot of beating JJ?

Kenseth is the only one with a real shot. It's like wondering who you want to rule your country: Stalin or Hitler? Or Buscholini.

Gotcha. But it's possible that the pit crews might start fighting like last year?

p.s. I think I'm rooting for Franklin Logano Roosevelt. Or Richard Petain Motorsports?
