They never said they are going to officially divorce even though Jenni moved away from Switzerland...but Kimi and Jenni are having the same problem that Lewis and Nicole had, they simply dont have much time to be together as both are busy with their own careers.

But ye great to see that Kimi is quickly recovering, hopefully the back wont give him trouble anymore.

Also dont know if this been posted yet but:

"This year I suppose I have to call Kimi the star driver, with the equipment he has," said Ecclestone of the Finn who left Lotus after complaining he had not received his wages. "I think he was motivated on hope that he was going to get paid.

"He's a good guy to have in a team, good for us, good for the team. He's super, he's a racer."

Do not get me wrong, I am happy he seems to recover as well as relax during the sick leave to get well prepared for the next season. I hope this picture is a sign he is well balanced and happy on the personal side for the time with Ferrari since somebody once said, happy Kimi is the fastest Kimi...

According to TS, reported a week or so ago, he should be able start with some light training just before Christmas.

Revealed Your Ultimate F1 2013 Driver of the Day
16 December 2013

U9x5wsZ.jpg

Kimi Raikkonen has beaten Fernando Alonso and Romain Grosjean to take Crash.net's ultimate F1 2013 Driver of the Day honour.

Throughout the year and after each of the 19 races that made up the 2013 F1 World Championship, we have asked you to vote for your Driver of the Day and in total we had nine different gold medallists, with Raikkonen taking the Driver of the Day accolade six times in total – despite missing the final two events.

This one is from James Allen's article ( http://www.jamesalle...-the-year-2013/ ) Kimi was really generous if I understand it right  , but even this really shows the financial diffuculties that Lotus got through and the breakpoint between Kimi and Lotus. No doubt his season was over before season ended.

3. Kimi Raikkonen

Again a very tough one. But Raikkonen surely deserves it for his consistency – prior to his falling-out with Lotus he had scored a win (his second for the team) and seven other 2013 podiums, including six second places. Romain Grosjean came good at the end, but second was the peak of his achievement, whereas Raikkonen was doing it consistently and was on a real roll in the early part of the season in particular, with a string of second places from China to Spain.

The Lotus was a very good car this year, but not the fastest. It was one of the most consistent across the whole season, with an impressively short blip after the Pirelli tyre compounds were changed post Silverstone. Without that Lotus and Raikkonen could have challenged for greater honours this year.

He wasn’t the fastest in qualifying, but, like Alonso, his race performances, strategic thinking, precision and patience were vital ingredients in success in 2013 spec Pirelli era racing.

Although his move to Ferrari for 2014 was one of the main stories of the year, it was sad the way things ended with Lotus. Owed something in the region of €20m, he tried to settle for around €5m and even that proved a challenge for the financially strapped outfit.

20 Millions ? I am not buying it, his managers are F rodweillers but sorry Lotus was never in a position to pay that kind od money to its drivers and Kimi despite his successful comeback could not possibly ask for such a salary, the only way this can be credible is if this money  amount includes 2012 debt.

You do know that Kimis salary was based on performance, the better Kimi performed the more money the team earned. You do know that don't you?

ferrari already had a bio for Raikkönen from his previous stint (try deleting the "-2" from the end of the link), which they didn't delete, so his next bio got a new link.

also, good catch, apoka :D
