Some of the most unforgettable racing I have seen has been pass-free.  San Marino 2005 and 2006, Schumacher v Alonso, no pass, and the positions swapped the next year.  Utterly nailbiting.  2004 Button hunting down Trulli at Monaco, some great Direction with the happy coincidence that the camera on Trulli's car pointed backwards while Buttons was forwards.  No pass and yet brilliant to watch.  There are plenty of other examples where we have seen great drives from people who cannot quite make a pass stick and yet you can't think any less of them for that, because passing is hard work.  Or was.
