Chrome at home. IE at work.
Just tried both. Emoticons are there using chrome, but not when using IE.
Posted 13 November 2013 - 20:41
If you click on "more reply options" you can click on the top left grey symbol. Maybe this makes the emoticons re-appear
Posted 13 November 2013 - 22:25
It does?
I was just joking. Of course, the software doesn't remove emoticons and color, because it thinks the poster is too old or posts too frequently.
But it's good to see that I'm taken very serious (sometimes).

An excellent effort! One day, all OP's will be made this way. I do miss the obligatory cat, though perhaps they should remain Nascar only, for the sake of Andrew Hope's sanity. Or ours.
I see some OP brilliance is trickling down to the observant...
Too add yet MORE linky goodness..Here's the Fan Guide

I'm normally not one to hope for water on the track, but racing on a damp track should be a good show for the Americans. Damp, because we all know the FIA is going to give us two hours worth of red flags and safety car shenanigans if it actually rains.
Though I suspect it is unlikely to happen, I still have some hope that one of the other teams can rise above their recent embarrassing incompetence to give Red Bull a good fight for the win. If they don't, I intend to complain about them on these very forums.
Other than that, I'm hoping for a more engaging event than last year. The track didn't click for me then - especially turns 12 to 19 - but it being the first time, I'll not judge it yet.
On the (based on this year's previous form) extremely unlikely eventuality of rain, you better find something to occupy yourself for a while. As the FIA WEC proved when it visited earlier in the year, this track is hardly the best at dealing with wet weather. The uphill run to turn one was particularly problematic, and the draining around the rest of the track was very poor - left lots of standing water.

You didn't miss much. It was one of the shortest drivers press session & Heikki couldn't even make it.
Perez shocked by McLaren exit after getting two days' notice, this is possibly the single most intriguing part. Half of questions were to Checo. He looked very calm but it wasn't easy to watch a young guy whose dream was just shattered dealing with them.

The best bit in the press conference was when Di Resta said:
"It would just be nice to be up the front racing where you should be."

Ah yes. The race where Mansell tried to push his car across the line. This moment, more than any other cemented my years of love for Formula One racing.

Di Resta seems to have a rather high opinion of himself.... It'd be a pity if he loses his seat at FI.

I'm looking forward to Grosjean destroying him next year. (wishful thinking aside, I don't really think Maldonado will give Grosjean a big challenge)

Arrogance is a job requirement for a racing driver. At least he is quite good at that bit of the job.

Maldonado to Lotus seems confirmed given Maldonado knows exactly where he is going?
He's not been rumored to turn up anywhere else afaik
