Hello

I'm trying to find out the name of the co-driver / navigator who partnered John Coombs in the 1951 Rallye de Sestriere. Does anybody know who this could be? The car they drove was an xk120 (registration PPA 777, entry number 46). There is a photo of them at a control point but no identity of the co-driver unfortunately.

Any help much appreciated.

the co-driver was Squadron Leader D.H. Laver

I have a different photo of Coombs and Laver standing near the car than the one used in a couple of different books.
