Not involving toasters.... :p

Oliver Weingarten - secretary general of FOTA
Yday was informed about a potential US #F1 Team, and today in a different State, someone unrelated mentioned the same name behind it.

Any new team is welcome in my book... as long as they are competent enough to get inside 107%.

Even so, it's hard to resist a blast from the past!

Why start a new team when it makes more sense to invest into an existing team in need of money? I rather see Maurussia or Caterham edging closer to the midfield then having a new HRT on the grid.

But Ijaz isn't buying into Lotus is he... he doesn't have the money.

As long as Peter Windsor and that charlatan Anderson are as far away from this as possible... I'm all for it. Would love to see more US involvement in F1.

Makes sense. With the expansion of F1 to Russia and China, this is a golden chance. The car will carry a device to intercept calls and emails of the powerful people who attend the GPs.

The car can also double as a missile if terrorists are suspected of being in the area. Therefote it is safe to assume Maldonado will be announced as the driver, due to his lengthy experience using a car as a weapon.

So it's gonna be built by Google?

Any other known source apart from that Mr. Oliver Weingarten?
