Here's a great little 11-minute video produced by Ford Racing on the Ford GT program, with a special focus on LeMans. It's especially valuable for the insights from three key people: Mose Nowland, legendary Ford engine designer, Dan Gurney, co-driver of the '67 LeMans winner, and Edsel Ford II, son of Henry Ford II, who drove the entire project with losing-is-not-an-option priority.
Of personal interest to me is the commentary of Mose Nowland, who just recently retired from Ford with a hand in every performance engine program from the company since the early '60s. Hero status.
