Do the classic tracks make up for the poor races?

I wish there were 2 Interlagos races per year, such an amazing track.

As far as i'm concerned the 'classic' tracks are nothing like the circuits they were.  Silverstone was a superb circuit (other than for spectating) before they changed it, The section before Woodcote spoilt it, it was so much better with just the chicane at Woodcote.  The most recent reviosns were designed fro MotoGP and have lost any feel for the original layout.  Monaco has lost some character with the armco disappearing and I've never liked the swimming pool section when you consider the flowing nature of the circuit before that, Suzuka's the least altered but changing corners like 130R suggests it won't be long before it's covered in tarmac everywhere, Monza's 1st chicane is too abrupt compared to the previous version and Spa is becoming a forest lined Tilkedrome with acres of tarmac runoff to remove the challenge. 

 

 

Classic names not circuits...
