so no more sim photos, hard train on (ferrari's) gym, and....

the worst part is that WE KNOW NOW that anything FA tweets concerning Ferrari has been filtered/sanctioned/CENSORED by Ferrari    Is FA free? free as speech, not as beer

everything concerning Ferrari will be communicated by Ferrari

As far as I know Fernando has never said anything bad about Ferrari on twitter, upload telemetry or stuff like that. This news makes zero sense and I'm pretty sure that needs a clarification, it can't be "Alonso can't tweet about Ferrari", period. My guess, this is because the photo his manager uploaded (Alonso strapped to stretcher).

how unusual that as a high value human asset of a company can't talk to everyone/the public about the companys business, this must be censorship in a tyrant form! free speech (whatever this might include) for all.

Hamilton did it.

His and Button's telemetry.

I get the feeling it was sarcasm.  :)

I would be surprised if he really needed to be told to be discrete.  It is ancient wisdom that a Samurai knows when to STFU about his boss and avoid becoming Ronin.

Yeah, but then again becoming Ronin is often a more appropriate path to become legend than just being a good boy Samurai fading into the masses... :)

I keep reading that and the previous post as 'becoming Robin' and getting so confused.

Anyway as to the thread topic,  Alonso's been talking Ferrari stuff all morning and he's not been sacked yet. Perhaps it's just some reverse psychology Luca's engaged in here. 'Fernando, you are now absolutely ordered not to talk about the new Ferrari we're selling in the US soon at highly competitive rates.'

Yes, becoming Batman would seem like a much better idea.

Nananananananana.

Featuring Sebastian Vettel as The Riddler ("Am i one of the greats or am i not?"), Lewis Hamilton as Two-Face ("Don't talk to me! Hey, keep me updated!"), Kimi Raikkonen as Mr. Freeze ("Mumble mumble ice age mumble") and Nico Rosberg as Poison Ivy ("What do you mean there's no Britney in this franchise?").

They're controlling this guy too much. Without him they'd probably finish 4th in WCC

Discrete?  As in "having a clear independent shape or form"  (source)

Or discreet?   Slightly different meanings.... :smoking:

Fantastic. Alonso banned of doing what he is not doing and he hasnt done.

It sounds like LDM got baited by a reporter.

so far FA has NOT written any super-secret-ferrari-stuff or even sour words (and he could do it) about his team.

The sense of my first post here was because LdM creates a problem where theres no one.

***********

FA has begun to attend LdM advice and now is twitting about cycling (and his spected-to-be team)

Man, I'm a big fan of Ferrari myself but Luca needs a reality check. Maybe he should have a look at Massa's position in the championship over the last few seasons to get an idea of where Ferrari might have been without Alonso in the last four years.

Ferrari have a world class driver and they need to keep it that way at all costs. God forbid, I cannot even envision Ferrari results from 2010-2013 with two Massa's behind the wheel. Every year would be worse than 2009.

Wasn't Fernando getting text messages about Ferrari setup or strategy when he was driving for Mclaren in '07?
Maybe Ferrari are worried about him sending a coded tweet to other teams if things continue to go downhill in 2014?
