Best result of the season!
P3 & P4 in qualifying
P2 & P3 result in the race.
So the 2015 season was better than my wildest expectations. Nine podiums and 3rd in the WDC and Williams' best end-of-season result for better than a decade.
So, what does 2015 have in store for the team?
I hope that Williams manages to build on the platform that they've built this season. They've got engine supplier stability, driver stability and pretty good stability for the technical team. Reliability was excellent this year.
The biggest thing they need to work on is strategy and pitstops. Too many strategic blunders and unambitious or bizarre pit strategies probably cost Williams another two or three podiums this year.
With Mercedes expected to extend their dominance to 2015, I think another low drag, high speed car would be a good idea. The 2015 season has lots of tracks that favour high speeds - Monza, Spa, Austria, Silverstone, Canada, possibly Mexico - and I think that developing a car that is well optimised for these sorts of circuits could possibly be a way to seize a couple (or more) wins.
