5th place for massa is a great result considering that this is one track where the team were expecting a tough time.

He had a lap more on his tyres than Val as well, very pleased to come out of Singapore still in 3rd in the WCC.

Brilliant tire saving skills by Massa, could almost say the same for Bottas. Any idea what happened to his car?

He said the steering became unpredictable and made it hard to feel the car. Some dirt in the ventilation apparently. Not sure how much that accounted for his problems.

Yeah right

Thats the official line, but clearly there is more to it.

I wish Suzuka was this coming weekend, seems like an age since we had back to back GP's, I'm really looking forward to how we go there, the fight is with Ferrari now until the end of the season and with double points on offer at Abu Dhabi both teams should still be in with a shout of 3rd, fingers crossed we can build a good points advantage before the last round.

You can see on the overhead the one doing the slapping puts his gun way higher than any of the other 'gunmen'. Wonder if they'd arranged a signal with each other and one forgot.

The stop looked clean so can't see why they'd be arguing right there if it wasn't some specific miscommunication.

I shoudn't think it was anything particularly terrible. Wasn't it a 2.6 second stop? Hardly ground breaking but pretty good

Massa has done some impressive long stints this year whilst looking after the tyres, I'm thinking of Monaco and Canada as well.

We might be looking at it the wrong way, the slap could have been a well done mate sort of slap, maybe he is new to that job but it went off without a hitch was a good stop and the slapper was telling the slappee "well done mate I knew you could do it"

Although looking at it again it doesn't look like a well done slap.
