I have to question having both Texas meetings in June, so close together. Plus a June afternoon in Houston sounds hot.

They've also put two California events next to each other. Seems like they might be unecessarily competing with each other.

I hope that winter series will be going on from September onwards. It's such a short season.

Why doesn't Indycar run at COTA? That would be fun to watch.

I suspect that it has something to do with Bernie's conditions with the F1 circuits that they can't run "competing" series.

The talk seems to be of a 2015 date at COTA.

The USA has a lot of great road circuits that always seem to get omitted from Indycar calendars.

Because the races don't make money.

Is that schedule complete? No racing after Aug 30th?

Because it's a dull tilkedrome, something that ICS has thankfully not experienced yet. Also if you consider how many events that circuit has lost for next year, it's no secret that they're in bad shape.

Too many races in too short timegap and the TV schedule returns to confusing mishmash between NBC and ABC, but in the end it doesn't matter for me as I'll only watch Long Beach and the 500

I think it's kind of easy to follow. ABC takes the first race of the year, the month of May, and the race immediately following Indy. Everything else is NBC>

It's not even the whole Month as Carb Day incl Lights is on NBC

I thought 13 was better TV allocation wise but it's better than 12 a least

Dull? Haha, no. It's a great track. I'm not saying the credit goes to Tilke for that though.

Again, California is a BIG state.  Sears Point and Fontana are over 400 miles apart (which can be multiple states back East ;) ) + it could save on travel costs, which I'm sure the teams would greatly appreciate.

Season must end before f'ball.  Another case of sports organizations listening to, and going along with, what TV folk tell them.
